2024 brings a new beginning to Phillips Foils introducing new owner Darren Matthews who has over 30 years experience as a Hot Foil Stamper.

Our goal at Phillips Foils is to be a Foil Supplier in the UK who cannot only supply foil, but also hold the skillset to use the product in a commercial environment.

Since the company formed in the 1920s, our strength has always been supplying the best quality products, allied with excellent customer service. These core values are at the heart of Phillips Foils to this day.

Thermal Transfer Ribbon

Thermal Transfer Ribbon has become an important part of the Phillips Foils range. Most companies have a Thermal Transfer Printer, whether for printing some labels in the office to being part of an inline production system for food packaging. We can supply ribbons for all printers, just tell us the make and model of your printer and we can do the rest. We also supply self-adhesive labels.

Consultancy Services

Here at Phillips Foils we stand apart from other Foil suppliers as we have the skillset to use the product on your machine while working alongside you and your operators where needed to get the best finish possible.

Our services include.

Urgent call out service- We can send someone onsite to help with issues you may be having with a particular job. Ideally provide us with information on what the issues are, and we can arrive armed with foil and makeready materials to try to solve the issue or find a workaround. Additional training - Where jobs are proving difficult to run, we offer a problem-solving service where we will come and spend time with your operators on press to ensure they are getting the best out of the product they are using, and where necessary advise on alternative products.
Inhouse training for companies new to Hot Foil Stamping.
We also offer advice for companies looking to install hot foil stamping into their current business, with no prior knowledge of foil blocking, services include estimating tools, foil and die purchasing advice, and training on your new machine
